Why "Auntie Meta"?

 Why not?

 

Sure, I could have just put my full name out there, but I wanted to embrace a nickname that embodied my inner spirit as well as who I aspire to be for my "fun" brand. That's one where I sell t-shirts, write (hopefully, entertaining) newsletters, share tips, and whatever else comes to mind.

To me, women who get the title of auntie are the coolest ladies. They're fun, they'll keep you in line, they command respect and you better not question that they don't know what they're doing. And, most importantly, they always have your back.

 

I'm a helper by nature and I've learned a few things, so I'm hoping to pass on that wisdom and support to others. Maybe you need a boba tea for a pick-me-up in the middle of a rollercoaster day. I got you. Need a new t-shirt that exudes some attitude (without being nasty)? I have those! 

 

Plus, I got asked if I was having a midlife crisis because I was trying to do a bunch of new things so instead of being mad I decided to lean into my old, sassy lady ways.
