What's blooming

Part of my self-care routine these days ensures that I'll see cherry and apple blossoms for the next month.
Yes, like so many others, I have managed to make a walk a daily practice. On the days I can't squeeze at least a 10 minute solo walk in I get REALLY cranky. And I think it's worse nowadays because I'm really loving the sight of all the blossoms.
I mean, look at this:

Couldn't you just get lost in there?!
The more I thought about it this week, the more I felt compelled to bless everyone with these blossoms, so I took a good close-up snap and put it on some accessories on the online store.
I was also filled with a bit of guilt for not thinking of this sooner so I launched a limited time 10% discount. Code: INBLOOM.
And I didn't stop there. Because I DID actually go out to walk every day this week, which put me in a pretty good mood. So In honor of my little one's upcoming birthday, I'll be rolling out another discount soon. Stay tuned!
But if you need something right NOW, I want to offer up this spring time recipe that may just make you eat brussels sprouts. Yup, don't knock it until you try it. My kids love this one...
Springtime brussels slaw
Ingredients:
bag of brussels sprouts
white wine vinegar or white rice vinegar
salt
black pepper
olive oil (optional)
Equipment:
Cheese grater
glass or plastic bowl
spoon
Directions:
Wash and dry the brussels sprouts
Grate each sprout on the largest holes of the grater, down as far as you can
Transfer the grated sprouts to the bowl
Add two dashes of salt and a dash of black pepper
Add 1/3 cup of vinegar. If desired, add one tablespoon of olive oil
Stir
Let sit on counter in bowl for 10 minutes or in fridge for 10 minutes
Serve
Super easy AND delicious!
